Ross served as an aviation officer for twelve years, flying Apaches and completing two tours in Iraq. He returned to USMA to serve as the Tac Officer for Company B2 and as the Executive Officer at the Simon Center for The Professional Military Ethic. Upon leaving the military in 2016 he joined Hire Heroes USA to, launching a research program focused on disabled veterans’ employment.

 

Ross has stayed at Hire Heroes USA, and in 2020 assumed responsibility as the Interim CEO just prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. After successfully retaining all 120 employees and growing the service impact and delivery Ross was offered the full-time role as COO in October 2020.

 

Ross and his wife Heather have one daughter, and recently relocated from Atlanta to Connecticut to live closer to family. Ross has a MA from Teacher’s College at Columbia University, and a MBA from the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia.
