Freddie Kim is a decorated U.S. Army veteran celebrated for his leadership and service. He spent 14 years serving in elite military roles, including assignments in the 82nd Airborne Division as an Airborne Ranger and as a Green Beret Detachment Commander. During more than 30 months of combat deployments, Kim honed skills in high-pressure decision-making and tactical leadership. After his discharge in 2014, he transitioned from military life to the corporate world, eventually earning an Executive MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

 

Following his military and academic pursuits, Freddie Kim embarked on a diverse professional journey. He initially served as president of a private manufacturing firm, before founding both a boutique boxing fitness gym known as FIGHTribe and a veteran-focused executive search firm. His entrepreneurial ventures reflect a deep commitment to personal empowerment, physical wellness, and professional development.

 

At the helm of MilSpec Talent (also referred to as MilSpec Capital Partners), Kim channels his experience to support fellow veterans. The firm specializes in matching elite Veteran 2.0 leaders with impactful roles in private-sector small to mid-sized businesses. Leveraging his own transitions—from combat leader to business executive—he founded MilSpec Talent to guide and place military veterans who share the values of “low ego, high impact.
